Pangkor's colonial artefact

The Dutch Fort, built in 1670, is one of the remaining historical ruins on Pangkor Island. The fort or ‘Kota Belanda’ in Malay was once used for storage and protection of tin supplies from the Sultanate of Perak in the olden days. It was destroyed but rebuilt again in 1973.
