Share your adventures by sending track points at preselected time intervals. Using the MapShare™ trip-sharing webpage, followers can see your progress, ping your device to see your GPS location and exchange messages during your trip.1
In case of emergency, trigger an interactive SOS1 message to the Garmin Response, a professional 24/7 staffed emergency response coordination center. Trained staff is available to respond to your messages, track your device and contact and coordinate with emergency services or others to provide assistance – giving you peace of mind. The Garmin Response can stay in touch with you until help arrives or you no longer require assistance.

The Garmin Explore™ and Earthmate apps let you view your current location, plan and navigate routes, set and manage waypoints, and more from your smartphone or tablet. When paired with a compatible inReach device, you can use the apps for 2-way messaging, tracking and SOS capabilities over the 100% global Iridium network. No matter which inReach device you have, you can use the Garmin Explore website to plan your trip and view routes you’ve stored on your device.

1. Active satellite subscription required. Some jurisdictions regulate or prohibit the use of satellite communication devices. It is your responsibility to know and follow all applicable laws in the jurisdictions where the device is intended to be used.
2. Subscription plans listed above are for individual consumers only. Each inReach product requires its own subscription plan.
3. All prices subject to change. All plans are billed monthly. Selected plan auto-renews monthly unless user changes plan selection or cancels before the next renewal date. U.S. plan prices do not include applicable state/local taxes. Unless stated otherwise, non-U.S. plan prices do not include applicable VAT or other taxes. Additional charges apply to text messages sent through the Iridium satellite network exceeding selected plan limits.
4. Annual plans are subject to an activation fee, as listed in the table above, charged at sign up. Annual plans have an initial commitment of 1 year. An early termination fee applies for cancellation during the initial 1-year term. No charge applies to changing an Annual plan.
5. Freedom plans are subject to an Annual Program Fee, charged at sign up and on each 1-year anniversary of sign up. Freedom plans have a minimum term of 30 days. New 30-day minimum applies to changed Freedom plans. No charge applies to changing a Freedom plan. Service can be suspended at no charge. Users retain access to inReach data stored on the Garmin Explore™ website while account is suspended.
