Ipoh Railway Station (0.5hr)

One of the Grand Architectural Masterpieces in Ipoh

Designed by Arthur Benison Hubback, the railway station was constructed in 1917 and opened in 1935. This grand architectural masterpiece also houses the Majestic Hotel, better known as "Taj Mahal of Ipoh". This ivory tower is built with Moorish domes and turrets, making it one of main attractions in Ipoh.

Look and Behold the Big Ben of Perak!

The clock tower was built to commemorate J.W.W. Birch, the first British resident in Perak. Standing mightily opposite Ipoh State Mosque, this square tower consists of a portrait bust and four panels which depict the advancement of civilization. This clock tower was unveiled in 1909.
